My Frugal Favorite Things #3

I LOVE kitchen gadgets! I love getting them for gifts and finding them at yard sales! But it has to be something that I will REALLY use. Something that will make my job just a little bit easier and not take up too much space in my kitchen. I've been burned on lots of useless items, but one gadget that I absoultely love, and is my absolute favorite, is my KitchenAid Kitchen Shears. I love these things! They are basically just a pair of super-sized scissors. They are really sharp, with big handles and a plastic cover that goes over the end, which I like, having small busy hands around my house! I think the best thing about these is that they are great for cutting up food for small kids. It is so easy to cut off little bites of pizza without tearing off all of the toppings! They are great for opening bags of food while cooking, and cutting up smaller veggies (green onions are so easy now!) So, here's my free plug for KitchenAid, and also for Target, which is where I got these for around $7.99. Not too expensive, but they will last a long time.
